FAQ.

Everything here is free while the site is in beta. If any part becomes paid later, this page will say which part before it happens.

Is it really free?

Yes. The 13 steps, the practice room and the videos need no account, no card and have no time limit. Signing in with Google is optional. Signing in keeps your practice rounds, reports and lessons read across devices. Step answers and ticks stay on this device; Download my data and Import my data on Profile move them.

Where are my answers kept?

In this browser, on this device. Nothing you type in a step is sent to us. If you sign in, only your practice-room round summaries (times, pace, filler count) are saved to your account, never recordings, step ticks or step answers.

Do you track me?

No ads and no third-party trackers. We count anonymous step use: which step was opened or finished, which practice round was started from a step, and taps on "I got an offer". Each count is a day, a name and a number. No cookie, no ID and nothing about you is stored with it. One cookie, only if you sign in.

What does the practice room measure?

How you speak: time on each step, how much of it you spoke, your longest pause, your pace in words a minute and filler words, and whether you made the moves that round needs. It does not judge whether your answer is right. Use the self-checklist for content, or a friend who knows the subject.

Does my voice leave my device?

The recording and its analysis stay in your browser. Live transcription uses your browser's speech service: in Chrome that sends audio to Google, so it is a switch you can turn off in the room's settings, and typing your answer works with nothing sent anywhere. The optional AI follow-up question sends the text of your last answer to Cloudflare, only when you turn it on.

Will this get me an offer?

No one can promise that, and we do not. The steps and the room help you prepare and rehearse. They do not replace practising coding problems elsewhere, a mentor's referral or a real human mock.

Which steps have a tool, and which are notes for now?

Six steps have a working tool: 1 Should you switch?, 2 Find your level, 4 The recruiter call, 5 Your prep plan, 9 Your story bank and 11 Compare your offers. The other seven (3, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 13) are marked "Notes and practice for now": the lessons, the practice round where there is one, and a notes box. Their tools are added one at a time. Your ticks on the route carry over.

Do you teach data structures and algorithms?

No. Use a problem site for practice. The coding step covers how to run a coding round out loud, not a problem bank.

Are you connected to the companies you mention?

No. Loop Ready is independent. Company names only say where a format or question was reported. Pay figures, where they appear, are rounded public figures.

How do I contact you?
