Privacy notice

Short because there is little to say. the owner of the Loop Ready channel runs Loop Ready, a free website. There is no advertising, no store and no third-party tracker.
What stays on your device
The step tools (answers you type, numbers you enter, your ticks) are saved in your browser's local storage, under the name loopready.switch.v1. The practice room saves your progress and a short summary of each round (times, talk percentage, pace) in the same way, under loopready.progress.v1, together with the lessons you mark read and the date you marked each. None of this is sent to us. Clearing this site's data in your browser deletes it. Fonts and images are served from the site itself. Our host (Cloudflare Pages) keeps ordinary server logs, such as IP address and time of request, to run and protect the service, under its own privacy policy.
Anonymous step counts
When you open or finish a step, go back, pick where you are on the home page, start a practice round from a step, or press "I got an offer", the page tells us that one such thing happened. We store only the day, the name of that event from a fixed list (for example step.4.done) and a running number. No cookie, no IP address, no ID and no content you typed.
The practice room
If you turn on Record me, your microphone is recorded and analysed for talk and silence inside your browser. The recording is not uploaded; you can save it yourself from the report.
If you turn on live captions, your browser's speech service turns your speech into text. In Chrome this sends your audio to Google under Google's privacy policy. Captions are off unless you turn them on.
The interviewer's voice uses your device's built-in speech. Videos load from YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com) only when you press play, under YouTube's privacy policy.
Signing in
Signing in is optional and only saves your practice-room progress and the lessons you mark read across devices. If you sign in with Google, Google tells us your Google account ID, your name and your email address; we never see your password. We store them, your newsletter choice and your practice-room progress (which rounds you finished and each round's times, talk percentage, pace and filler count; never recordings or captions) and which lessons you marked read, with the date, in a database on Cloudflare (D1). Your step answers and ticks are not synced. We set one cookie, lr_session, that keeps you signed in for 30 days; it is blocked from page scripts and sent only over HTTPS. Google's sign-in script loads only when you open the sign-in panel, under Google's privacy policy.
Delete your account from the account menu: that erases your account and its saved progress at once and clears the cookie. Signing out also clears the cookie.
AI follow-up question
Off unless you turn it on in the practice room. When on, the text of your last answer (at most its last 1,500 characters), the interviewer's question and the round name are sent to Cloudflare Workers AI (a Llama model), which writes one follow-up question. We do not store that text or the question. To keep the free allowance from running out we keep daily counters in our database: one total for the day, and one per visitor, which is a one-way hash of your IP address and the date, so it cannot be matched across days. These counters are not currently deleted on a schedule, so they stay until we clear them. If the service is unavailable or you reach the daily limit, you get a scripted follow-up instead.
Newsletter
Only if you are signed in and tick "Email me when new rounds or steps are added". You can untick it at any time from the account menu.
What we never do
We never sell your data, share it with advertisers, add you to a mailing list without asking, or ask for payment details or passwords. We do not use cookies other than the sign-in cookie.
Contact and your choices
If you haven't signed in, we hold nothing about you beyond the anonymous counts and server logs above. If you have, delete your account yourself from the account menu, or email harshjwr@gmail.com to see, correct or delete what we hold. If you write to us we keep your message and our reply only as long as needed to help you.
